View on instagramPasquale Esposito was born and raised in Naples, Italy. He is the youngest of five children, with four older sisters. Pasquale developed his love for music at a young age and further honed his skills singing in the church choir. It was at that early age that he noticed the miracles of music and that no matter how young or old, rich or poor, close or far in proximity the audience members lived, they all shared an affinity for music. He realized that music was the tie that binds us all and is the true universal language.
Show moreWhile living in Italy, he enjoyed uniting and inspiring others, as well as showcasing his vocal gifts at local piano bars. His performances at these intimate venues created opportunities for Pasquale to share his prodigious vocal talents and capture deep and profound connections with his audiences. He has the unique ability to penetrate right into the emotional heartbeat of any song, classical or contemporary, with his warm tenor voice. The sheer power of his unforgettable voice is able to transform the spirits of crowds, regardless of age group, and leave a lasting impression.
In 1998, Pasquale decided to pursue the American Dream and immigrated to the United States, where he would be able to further his goal of becoming a professional singer and songwriter. He pursued his academic interests in music by focusing on verbal performance and completing his Bachelor of Art degree at San Jose State University\\\'s School of Music in 2009. Throughout his coursework, Pasquale received training from world-renowned faculty. Their musical contributions and legacies profoundly impacted Pasquale as an individual, community advocate, and as an artist. In the fall of 2011, Pasquale was featured as an Alumni in the Spotlight in San Jose State University\\\'s \\\"Five Star\\\" publication. His achievements during and after graduation were highlighted.
Aside from working in the recording studio, Pasquale has toured both in the USA and abroad with several musical productions and concerts. From 2005 through 2007, Pasquale toured with the Italian musical revue: \"Naples - That\'s Amore! Pasquale and Ettore Squillace, an accomplished director and choreographer from Naples, Italy, collaborated to write, direct, and produce this production. The show toured in the following cities: Santa Clara, CA, Stockton, CA, Pompeii, Italy, Naples, Italy, San Francisco, CA, Monterey, CA, San Jose, CA, Los Angeles, CA, San Diego, CA, Chicago, Il, and Boston, MA. The last run of the show was at the historical Teatro Bellini in Naples, Italy in the spring of 2007.
In the fall of 2007, Pasquale had the opportunity to tour with Gigi D`Alessio and Anna Tatangelo, two of Italy\\\'s finest pop artists, during their 2007 North American Tour. Aside from touring with these artists, Pasquale introduced his original music to the public for the first time in his own 2007 concert tour of \\\"Simply Pasquale!\\\" The concert series debuted in San Jose at the Montgomery Theatre in October and was later followed by performances at The State Theatre in Modesto and The Herbst Theatre in San Francisco.
In 2009, Pasquale released the CD: \\\"A Brand New Me\\\" consisting entirely of original compositions in his distinctive pop-opera style. The making of this CD was an international collaboration of many talents. The music and lyrics were written by Pasquale Esposito and Antonio Aprile, a composer and an arranger from Naples, Italy. The recording of the CD took place in Italy and the United States under the supervision of Antonio Aprile and Ettore Gatta. The transatlantic fusion of cultures and musicians resulted in a spectacular CD. Pasquale toured with the CD throughout 2009 kicking off in Naples, Italy at Teatro Cilea on January 7, 2009. Thereafter, Pasquale continued his \\\"A Brand New Me\\\" tour performing throughout the USA: Boston, Chicago, Reno, San Jose, Monterey, and San Diego.
In December 2009, Pasquale began his collaboration with the Mission Chamber Orchestra conducted by Emily Ray and Ettore Gatta to present \\\"PASQUALE IN CANTO\\\" his annual benefit concert. This concert presented Pasquale as the tenor performing the most famous European Opera Arias, Neapolitan songs, and his original compositions accompanied by a 60 piece orchestra. Due to the great success of the premier in San Francisco, the show continues to tour at the finest performing arts venues.
After selling out the \\\"Pasquale in Canto\\\" performance at Fort Mason in San Francisco in 2009, Pasquale has continued every December with sell out shows of \\\"Pasquale in Canto\\\" at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco (2011) and at the Bayside Performing Arts Center in San Mateo (2010, 2012). On December 14, 2013, Pasquale will present \\\"Bianco Natale\\\" at the newly constructed Menlo Atherton Performing Arts Center in Menlo Park which will benefit the non-profit organization, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
In December 2011, Pasquale released the double CD: Il Tempo. The CD comprised of two new compositions: \\\"Always and Forever\\\" and \\\"Il Cielo e Noi\\\" in addition to a span of music covering 1880-2011. All of the songs were arranged uniquely to create Pasquale\\\'s pop-opera style. Pasquale was fortunate to team up with Antonio Aprile and Ettore Gatta to create the incredible synergy resulting in his best selling CD. Pasquale began touring with the double CD in April 2012 with his debut performance in Palm Springs, CA at the historic Annenberg Theatre. The tour continued with a sold out show at Anthology in San Diego in October 2012. The 2013 Tour of the show continues with a show at the Gallo Center for the Arts on September 28, 2013 in Modesto, CA and November 10, 2013 at Yoshi\\\'s in Northern California.
Presently, Pasquale is finalizing his first Spanish CD of original songs titled: \\\"Mi Nuevo Yo\\\" due for release in 2014.
In 2012, Pasquale established Notable Music and Arts Organization (NMAO), a 501(c) 3 charitable organization promoting music education and awareness both locally as well as globally. With the support of NMAO, Pasquale is preparing for the filming of a documentary concert titled: \\\"Enrico Caruso ~ His Life, His Music, His Cities.\\\" The concert will take place on September 3 and 4, 2013 at Castello Giusso in Vico Equense on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Upon completion of the documentary/concert, it will be submitted for consideration to be televised nationally on PBS. The project will pay homage to the Italian tenor, Enrico Caruso, by taking the audience on a journey through his life and the cities that he lived and performed as well as the music that shaped his career.
As a strong proponent of peace, humanity, respect, and goodwill, Pasquale will continues to donate portions of the ticket sales\\\' proceeds from several 2013 upcoming concerts to benefit a select number of nationally renowned nonprofits whose missions are to improve the quality of life and focus on underserved youth, education, health and human services, and the arts for all those involved. \\\"There are those who inspire and those who create. Those who make a difference everywhere and everyplace.\\\"
Pasquale Esposito is a member of ASCAP. He is also a voting member of the The Recording Academy.
